 March 1 2010 The 2010 season is only a bit over a month away and it is looking to be an exciting and successful season for the Hoggies. With great numbers at footy training and enthusiasm as high as Canberra's upcoming balloon festival, it is looking to be a great year for the Hogs. Meanwhile the Hoggettes are looking to expand to two teams this year and will be holding a registration and trials day this month. Inter Club Match This Thursday (4th March) will see the first Inter-Club match. The Looks Vs The Talent. So make sure you bring your mouth guards & boots down and get there as early as possible to get warmed up so we can get the game started a bit after 6. It will be a great hit out, with everyone getting their chance to show the coaches what they can do in a game situation for the first time in 10. Player Profiles Soon I will be giving out some player profile forms for all players to fill out and start taking some photos. These photos and information will go towards creating the player profile web pages and is a good fun way to find out more about our team mates. It is also where any companies that are 'Players Sponsors' will have their logo's posted. Supercoach Those interested in battling it out to be crowned HAFC Supercoach for 2010 email me. We'll decide on prize pool once we have estimated numbers. Players Sponsors Would someone like to sponsor me? I am happy to wear XXXXL shorts to add great value for money signage for your company. If you or a company you know of would like to sponsor a player contact President Rowdy. Players will have their registration fees paid for if they can find a sponsor for themselves. By now I hope you have noticed a few changes round here. If you haven't please visit here. I am currently doing a bit of interior decorating and giving things a lick of paint here and there. So bare with me for the next week or so while I sort out a few things. If you have any suggestions on what could be done better or anything that could improve the site in anyway, let me know.
