THE CLUB 100 CLUB FOR THE RECORD LIFE MEMBERS HONOUR ROLL

The Combined Services Football Club enters it's first competition with the Monaro Australian Football League.

Due to lack of support from Army and RAAF the Harman (Hogs) Australian Rules Football Club comes to fruition.

The Club's committee decide that, in view of numbers, they will enter two teams in the MAFL. Both divisions just miss the finals.

The Hogs experience their lowest season, going through the year without winning a 1st Division game and narrowly missing the 2 nd Division finals.

Dropping their seconds, the new look Harman ARFC enjoy the most dramatic of fortune reversals, winning every game and the MAFL 2nd Division Premiership in the process. Ken McKeown took out the league B&F in the process.

Promoted to first division, the Hogs continue their dominance of the local competition, again going through the season as Premiers and Champions. Steve Cleeman was both, the League's Best and Fairest and the league's leading goal-kicker with Ken McKeown finishing Runners Up Best and Fairest and Chris Luscombe set the record for the most goals in a game for Harman – 18.

Despite the loss of many players that had lead the Club over the previous two years, Harman still manage to make the Grand Final, unfortunately not able to emulate those feats and finishing as runners up.

Again in the finals but this time falling two wins short of a third premiership.

Back in the MAFL 2 nd Division, Harman remedied a couple of lean years with another Grand Final appearance, only to be beaten in the big game by Goulburn, an unlikely victor after Harman had earlier given the Hawks a sound beating in the 2 nd Semi Final.

Jamie McGinley and many new footballers come to the Harman Australian Football Club (the Rules is dropped from the title). One loss for the season augers for a third premiership – which goes begging at the hands of Belconnen. Jamie swept the pool on awards, winning the League B&F, League Leading Goal-kicker, and Harman's Player of the Year and also surpassing the record for most goals in a game by kicking 20 against Cooma and most goals in a season with 115.

In what was becoming a habit, the strong Harman side now under the direction of Al Conway and still competing in the MAFL 2 nd Division, makes it to a third successive Grand Final only to be rolled by Ainslie. Harman are again at the top of the league awards, with Reg Dwyer winning the Runners up League Best and Fairest and Phil Jeffery winning the League Leading Goal-kicker.

This time coached by Rohan Jennings, the Hogs again make it to the final game of the season only to be rolled by ADFA in the big one. Reg Dywer took out the Division 2 League Best and Fairest and Allan Jefferson won the Division 2 Leading Goal Kicker.

Now being led by Gary Fuss, the Hogs take part in a revamped competition which sees the application of divisions come at the midway point of the season, with the top half in one division and the remainder in another. Harman's mediocre season to that point sees them just miss the cut but be at the top of the 2 nd half of the competition. After a 9 year wait, the Hogs finally return to the winner's dais, defeating ANU to take their third premiership. Gary Fuss won the Divisions Best and Fairest.

Accepting promotion to the first division Harman experience first hand the difference in quality of competition. Despite being undermanned in terms of playing experience and numbers, the Hogs make it to the Semi Finals.

Harman is the first Club to nominate a team to the ACT Women's Australian Football League, probably the highlight of the season with the girls managing to play off for the inaugural premiership against ADFA, going down by a small margin despite an outstanding comeback which threatened to topple to the young, fit and highly skilled ADFA outfit. Alas, time wasn't on their side.

Acknowledging that, to get the Club ahead and build on a sound base on which a first grade premiership could be built, Harman enters a 2 nd Division team for the first time in 15 years. They are considerably less than successful but the move is part of a grander plan.

A lack of numbers forces Harman to cease persisting with the women's team and it is folded pending further interest.

After many years of administrative stability, endeavouring to get the right mix of management, coaching and playing stock without quite gelling, it appeared the Club finally had it right. Despite being very well managed by 2 nd year coach Jamie McGinley and unexpectedly competitive (at least to opposition), Harman had to settle for third place after going down to eventual Premiers, ADFA in the Preliminary Final. The reserves storm home, beating three of the final four and finishing out of the finals on percentage only. The Club's female supporters get together to form the Hogettes Netball Team and play finals in their first year.

/5 A difficult period on the football field with neither team making any impact on finals outcomes. The Club spawned one successful netball team in 2004 and a second in 2005 playing in the Queanbeyan & Calwell competitions. Both teams featured in the finals with Queanbeyan bowing out in a close Preliminary Final and the Calwell girls getting rolled in their grand final.
